Sapphire Village is located on the far East End of St. Thomas.
A good map is located here,
which will help to make sense out of the below directions.
Once you arrive in St. Thomas, you can obtain
a copy of this same "pocket" map from any of the
rental car companies at the airport.
Please remember to drive on the Left-Hand
side of the road. The common phrase to remember is "Keep
your shoulder to the shoulder!"
From the airport, follow Airport Road to
the stoplight. Make a right-hand turn onto 30. Follow 30
around the harbor and downtown Charlotte-Amalie. Once you
go past town you will pass the government buildings and
about 1/4 mile more you will come to a stop sign. Make a
right. About 1/8 mile further on, make a left-hand turn
at stoplight onto 313 (Wendy’s is on the right-hand
side). At next stoplight (by McDonalds on right) make a
right onto 38 and follow for 2-3 miles. Go past TuTu Park
Mall on your left and go about 1/4-mile through to the 2nd
stoplight. Look for a Texaco Gas Station across the intersection
on the right (at the stoplight). You will be making a right-hand
turn up a hill just before the Texaco (this is still 38).
Follow for approximately 2-3 more miles past the Wyndham
Sugar Bay Resort (and several other resorts on your left)
and follow to the top of a steep hill. You should see the
blue roofs of Sapphire Village when coming up the hill.
At the very top of the hill, look for the sign for Sapphire
Beach Resort and Sapphire Village on your left-hand side.
Make the left (you should see the red roofs of the Sapphire
Beach Resort straight ahead) and go just past the sign (left
side of sign) and then make a quick right into Sapphire
Village (blue roofs). If arriving after 4:00pm or on the
weekend, please stop at security gate to obtain a Temporary
Parking Pass. Proceed slowly down the hill
over the speed bumps and the road bends to the left. When
you see the pool on your right, make a left past the office
on the left side. Dominica Building is on your right. Find
parking down as far as you can, as our unit is on the very
end of the building. You will be taking the last staircase
up to Unit 190 (top floor).
Remember, if renting a car, make sure they
provide you with a map. You can also obtain a lot of other
information at the airport. There are all kinds of brochures
and magazines with island activities, etc.
Good Luck and have a Great Time !!!
